The multi-year Enterprise Technology contracts are mandatory use contracts for all State of California departments and optional use contracts for local governmental agencies.  Dynamic Systems provides a pre-competed cost-effective solution to procure Enterprise Technology, which is defined as all data center hardware equipment (equipment in a data center and equipment that can interface with a data center), such as servers, storage, converged & hyper-converged systems, on-campus networking, fabric, etc., as well as associated software, accessories, installation, professional services, and warranty/support.  

Dynamic Systems provides effective communications, quoting, order processing, warehousing, expedient product and service delivery, knowledgeable warranty/support experience, data collection, reports, and excellent customer support through our NetApp, Oracle, and Veritas Enterprise Technology contract. 

NetApp:

The commodities listed below are available through our Veritas Enterprise Technology contract and includes these storage products, services, and support. Refer to the Important Links for the Veritas MSRP, contracted categories, and discounts.

Contract Period: October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2027

Delivery: 30 Days ARO

Items not available for purchase through the Enterprise Technology contract includes:

  • Cloud Services including acquisitions structured as managed on-site services
  • Storage as a Service, an architecture model by which a provider allows a customer to rent or lease storage space on the provider’s hardware infrastructure on a subscription basis.
  • Hardware and services for the purpose of telecommunications
  • PC goods
  • Wireless phone and internet service
  • Managed print services
  • Printers, Tablets, or Cellular Phone Equipment
  • Off-campus networking
  • Public Works
  • Consulting Services

Warranty Information

During the warranty period, Dynamic Systems will:

  • Honor all manufacturers’ warranties and guarantees on all products offered through the contract. 
  • Continue to provide warranty service after contract termination until expiration of warranties for products that have been sold under the contract.
  • Provide all labor, parts, and travel necessary to keep the products in good operating condition and preserve its operating efficiency in accordance with its technical specifications.
  • Pay any necessary shipment and insurance costs.
  • The warranty services listed shall include all products, software and firmware maintenance costs, and costs of labor, parts, travel, factory overhaul, rehabilitation, transportation, and substitute products as necessary. If it is necessary to remove any products from an ordering agency’s location where on-site warranty is specified, the Contractor will provide substitute products at the time of removal.  

Substitute products will be comparable to or better than the products removed. In instances where it is necessary for Dynamic Systems to return the products to the factory, we will be responsible for all costs of the products from the time it leaves the ordering agency’s site until it is returned to the site in good operating condition. However, if an OEM restocking fee is applicable for returned items, the agency will pay no more than 10%.

Only new standard parts or parts equal in performance to new parts will be used in making repairs. Parts that have been replaced will become the property of Dynamic Systems except in instances where the State chooses to keep the hard drives. Replacement parts installed will become the property of the ordering agency.

All operating system software and firmware will be considered an integral component of the equipment, and Dynamic Systems will respond to all requests for warranty service for any failure.  Warranty services during the warranty period will not include electrical work external to the products, the furnishing of supplies, or adding or removing accessories, attachments, or other devices not provided under this contract. Warranty services also will not include repair of damage resulting from transportation by the ordering agency between State or local sites or from accident unless the accident is caused by negligent, intentional acts, or omissions of Dynamic Systems or our agents.
